Finding largest and smallest number of a series of numbers with simple steps are important for class 2 students.
Here a series of number is written:
390, 568, 350, 676, 530
Step 1: First compare the left most digits of these numbers. The number shown in red colour to be compared first.Here we notice that 6 is greater than 5 and 3 so the greatest number is 676.
Step 2: 390, 568, 350, 676, 530
Now we compare second from left side because first left most digit is equal ie 3. As 5 is less than 9 , therefore 350 is the least number.
