DMAS – rule for simplifying numerical expressions are explained here with text and video.
D = Division
M = Multiplication
A = Addition
S = Subtraction
Let us take an Example 1:
764+200/10-4 x 32
= 764+200/10-4 x 32  >>WORK ON  DIVISION
=764+204 x 32   >>WORK ON MULTIPLICATION
=764+20-128  >>WORK ON ADDITION
=784-128  WORK ON SUBTRACTION
=656  >>ANSWER
Let us take another Example 2:
= 58×460 / 46 + 647 -743
= 58x460 / 46 + 647 -743 >>WORK ON  DIVISION
= 58×10 + 647 -743 >>WORK ON MULTIPLICATION
= 580 + 647 -743 >>WORK ON ADDITION
= 1227-743  >>WORK ON SUBTRACTION
=484  >>ANSWER
