RT.P. : the angle in a semicircle is a right angle. ie : &#x2220 ACB= 90^o

1   &#x2220AOB = 2&#x2220ACB  ||  angle at the centre is twice the angle at the circumference  of a circle.
2 . &#x2220ACB = ½&#x2220AOB  ||  by statement 1
3 . &#x2220ACB =½ x 180^o  || As  &#x2220 AOB = 180^o
